I love my rice cooker. Oh, how I love my rice cooker. Let me count the ways:
- It cooks rice perfectly
- I can walk away from the kitchen while the rice is cooking
- It can cook quinoa, couscous, and so much more
- It can steam vegetables
- It can be carried to potlucks
- It keeps rice warm hours after it's been cooked
- Some rice cookers can be used like crock pots
- Rice goes well with almost anything
- Rice is cheap, easy, and convenient

It also makes cooking brown rice so easy. For some reason I tend to have more problems with cooking brown than white rice and it's perfect all the time in my rice cooker.
